When the homeowners of this classic SE Portland bungalow decided to remodel, they called us in to help. We suggested new arched divided lite windows to mimic the home’s eyebrow porch roof. By using Marvin® wood windows, and paying careful attention to the window trim detail, the transformation was timeless – as if it had always been that way.

Before becoming a sun-filled sanctuary, this room was dark and dreary. A single, small window was to blame. The Classic Sash & Door team suggested transforming the room by adding Marvin® French doors and casement windows. The previous classic window trim details were matched via wide fir casings. This created a seamless flow with the rest of the house.

The owners of this ’60s-era ranch not only found the native, single-pane aluminum windows “old and ugly,” but cold and drafty too.
